Safety is not created by force — it is created through partnership. HQ Security is Sacramento’s first public-benefit, technology-enabled security firm, built on the belief that safety improves when private security, local businesses, and social service organizations work together.

HQ maintains intentional partnerships with local nonprofit agencies including AlphaOne Ambulance, Hope Cooperative, First Step Communities, Salvation Army, and WEAVE creating a rare collaboration between patrol security and community service providers.

When officers encounter an individual experiencing homelessness, mental health crisis, or substance addiction, we don’t just move the problem to another corner — we connect the person to services.
